The Flea & Tick Challenge in Broward County

South Florida's warm, humid climate is ideal for fleas and ticks year-round. There's no winter freeze to slow them down, which means these pests stay active and reproducing in every season. They thrive in shaded lawns, crawl spaces, pet bedding, and tall grass, making them difficult to eliminate without a professional approach.

Even indoor-only pets can be exposed. Fleas and ticks can hitchhike inside on shoes, clothing, or visiting animals. Once inside your home, they reproduce rapidly. A single flea can lay up to 50 eggs per day, and those eggs fall into carpets, furniture, and cracks in the floor where they're nearly impossible to reach with store-bought sprays or powders.

Protect Your Home from Fleas & Ticks

Fleas and ticks aren't just a problem for pets. They bite humans, spread diseases, and multiply fast. If left untreated, a small problem can turn into a full-blown infestation in a matter of weeks. Our flea and tick service is designed to eliminate existing pests while preventing future outbreaks with recurring monthly treatments tailored to South Florida conditions. If your home or yard has a flea or tick problem, professional treatment is the fastest way to get it under control.

Cat Fleas

Dog Fleas

Less common but similar in behavior, dog fleas feed on pets and humans. Proper identification matters since treatments vary by species.

Brown Dog Ticks

Deer Ticks

Though less common in South Florida, deer ticks are the primary carriers of Lyme disease. Their small size makes them difficult to detect, especially in early stages.

Signs of a Flea or Tick Problem

Flea and tick infestations can escalate quickly. Catching the signs early makes treatment faster and more effective.

1. Excessive Scratching or Biting

If your dog or cat is constantly scratching, chewing, or biting at their fur, fleas are the most common cause.

2. Visible Fleas

Check around the neck, base of the tail, and belly for small, fast-moving brown insects.

3. Flea Dirt

Tiny black specks in fur or bedding may be flea dirt. If they turn reddish-brown on a damp towel, it confirms an active infestation.

4. Bites on Humans

Flea bites often appear as small, itchy bumps on ankles and legs. Indoor bites usually signal a well-established problem.

5. Ticks on Pets or Clothing

Finding a tick on your pet or clothing indicates activity in your yard. Where there's one, there are usually more.

6. Hot Spots & Hair Loss

Severe infestations can cause skin irritation, hair loss, and sores in pets. Patchy fur or inflamed skin should be checked immediately.

Your Questions Answered

What Pests Are Covered In The Monthly Plan?
Our general household plan covers 25 of the most common pests in Florida — including ants, roaches, spiders, silverfish, earwigs, wasps (exterior nests), and more. Specialty pests like termites, rodents, bed bugs, and mosquitoes require separate treatments.
Do I Need To Be Home For Service
Nope! As long as we have access to the exterior of your home, we can perform your monthly treatment without you being there. If you need interior service, just let us know in advance.
Are Your Products Safe For Kids & Pets?

Yes. We use EPA-registered, professional-grade treatments that are applied with care by licensed technicians. We recommend allowing the product to fully dry and ventilate the area before reentry by children or pets.

What Happens If I Still See Bugs After Treatment
If covered pests show up between monthly visits, just give us a call — we’ll come back and treat the problem area at no extra charge. That’s part of our satisfaction guarantee.
Is There A Contract Or Cancellation Fee?

No contracts for the monthly plan — you can cancel anytime with no fees. For the yearly plan, we offer a discounted rate upfront. If you choose to cancel early, we'll simply pro-rate the months used at the standard monthly rate and refund the difference.
